Reetu Rajbhandari is an engineer specializing in clean energy and sanitation systems, with over eight years of professional experience in designing and implementing development projects. She has worked across Nepal and Asia with development partners, government bodies and research organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Water and Sanitation (Sanitary Engineering) from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands. She has worked with organizations such as the Welthungerhilfe (WHH) SPI Nepal, Clean Cooking Alliance, Imperative Global, and BORDA, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and ENPHO. Her work focuses on feasibility assessments, field testing, stakeholder coordination, and technical advisory support. She has contributed to promoting city-wide inclusive sanitation approaches, faecal sludge and wastewater management, ISO Standard 24521, and e-waste management through Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks in Nepal. Ms. Rajbhandari brings a strong technical foundation and a collaborative approach to advancing sustainable and inclusive development solutions.
